I'm a huge bookworm, hopefully I'm not the only one. I think it's nice to lay out in your backyard, trying to tan, or waiting at your endocrinologist's office reading. So Here is my Summer Reading list:
1. The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
This series is an amazing read. At first, I didn't think I would like it, however by the first 50 pages of the first book, Divergent, I was hooked! I am currently reading Allegiant, the last book of the trilogy. Most people think that this is similar to the. Hunger Games, but it's far from it. I personally think it's so much better because I wasn't hooked like I was with Divergent.
2. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
If you haven't read this book yet, I'm surprised. This book is probably one of the cutest books I've read in the past year. Also if you want a book that will make you cry, I recommend this one! This may be a typical recommendation however it's still an amazing book to read!
3. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
I plan on reading this book after I finish Allegiant. The thing that attracted me to this book is the cover. The book is about two young teenage misfits that fall in love. I personally love teen romance novels, so I'm excited to read this.
4. The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot
I love Meg Cabot's books and this is probably one of my favorite ones. This book is not a normal set up, it's written like a story of emails between people, however it's still interesting. This novel can be read in less than a week, depending on your summer schedule.
5. Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot
Another Meg Cabot book of course! This is a similar set up as The Boy Next Door, however it's different because there's different drama and love interests. This novel can make one laugh out loud, no joke.
6. Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally
This book is a short read, probably take you up to five days to read this. I could not put this book down once I started it. You get to see how Parker, the main character, evolves after family drama, effecting her. I honestly loved this book and will re-read it.
I hope all of you enjoyed the lovely camera quality of my iPad. There are many other books however if posted all of them, this post would be longer than the Great Wall of China. Snaps for my attempt at a joke ;). Yes, most of these books may be for teens but it's not like they aren't good reads. Hope this will be a start to your lovely summer!!
